WOOMBATOR.™ is a blend of ‘womb’ and ‘incubator’. We realized the woman (fertilizes, nurtures, cares) every human being into the world but rarely ever gets wombated (incubated) when it comes to her business, hopes, dreams, creativity, vision and wellbeing.
Therefore, it was right about time, we created WOOMBATOR.™, a special kind of business incubator; only this one feels like a real human, female womb — with all the care a female-owed business could ever get to develop (right mentoring, strategic guidance, mindset support, networking for opportunities & connections, tech/design issues, quick product, team & traction, preferential treatment to access funding) properly.
Esoterically, the ‘W’ on WOOMBATOR.™ (logo) symbolizes the sacred womb, (natal) water and the divine Mother. Or double vulva in ancient Egypt.
We live in a world that is extremely imbalance when it comes to women and money:
√ In virtually every profession, women are lagging behind men financially. Working just as hard — or harder — but not earning nearly enough.
√ 0.2% of funding (goes to women of color) although it has been proven women outperforming their male counterparts 63% nearly enough.
√ Women run 40% of small businesses, but generate only 4% of the revenue.
√ Only 6% of women earn 6 figures per year, compared to 13% of men.
√ Women are 35% more likely than men to experience poverty, especially later in life.
√ For black women and other people of color, the statistics are even worse. For African women it is the WORST.
√ 0.001% of all black people (and 0.0001% of black women) sell to China’s 983.7 million internet users, and 824.5 million digital buyers. Whereas China Market has been proven with YoY predictability than many other foreign markets.
Our founder (JANE LePAWAH) also being a black woman has gone through numerous cycles of business successes and failures, bouts of unimaginable challenges whilst self-funding and growing our 8-year old business (on 2 different continents; Asia and Africa) and thus fully understands the gnarly setbacks and core aspirations of most black women.
Aspirations for themselves (beings created by their Creator and a mission to fulfill their soul contract on earth), aspirations for their families, communities, the world; and the solutions they want to create or have created for opportunities to better their lives, families, communities and the world.
